Carlie Fleig: Personal Logo

DHM2423 Technology and Visual Communications for Merchandisers. The purpose of this project was to create an organic logo using Illustrator. I utilized the lettering for my first and last name to create a clean, simple, creative logo that represents me. I wanted it to reflect the idea of a "brand", like something you would use to identify cattle. Growing up on a farm a brands purpose is to distinguish who's livestock it is. I wanted to take that idea and incorporate it into my personal logo. I also took elements from my favorite color and the flower background to also showcase a softer side. I wanted a hard logo, with an elegant and simple background. My designs also were representations of shapes and how they can be manipulated into something seamless and fun.
